Temperance …………as they See it

Temperance ……the term which become to create craze, among many thinkers, those who are in charge of centers and religious Islamic forums, to prove with what ever they got, o f instruments and pretences, through which they show people and the whole world, how much did the Islam and its Quran and blessed Sunnah carried of the concept of temperance and moderation, and philanthropy for humanity
but this term differ in values, explanations, anagogy and application, as is the case with many religious terms, for every one tries to draw it according to his opinion and the knowledge he acquired, from religious bodies, those who differ in opinion, the method of thinking, the way of initiation and presentation, thus, we see difference and exhibition of this term, which I consider in case we find the right means, in its presentation, our salvation is found, and the societies condition would be in the right form, on which Almighty have created, from His heaven for this blessed earth.
I got under my hands today, some of the books that are the product of governmental and none- governmental institutions, and scholars who are keen for reform in our times, that's to place Islam in its right subscribed post and project it in the form God conveyed, to find what was written in a note by the ministry of endowment today, titled ( Islam, the Religion of Temperance and Moderation ) which is considered as a course, followed by heralds, in teaching and supervision in religious institutions and Mosques. But what I have read of nice simple words, put together to serve religious heralds, as they claim……..but what I think of its 50 pages is, it does not carry any thought, that talks to the mind or help in its growth, it more resembles and identical to the simple books of primary, intermediate and secondary schools, which draws some moral ethics and little of jurisprudent opinions…..in them I found a great deal of difference, with many publications and studies that deals with temperance and carries thought that, defies extravagance, extremism, terrorism and skipping away from peaceableness temperance.
I personally feel that, we are in a dire need to talk to human mind, not courtesy and titillating of emotions, for we are today under test……..for that we must find suitable solutions, for the generation of technology and communication, who is concern became mainly communicate, read and search, this generation is trying to get away, from any thing that does not help in the growth of his mind………or what burden him with what he can't deal with…. Or any ideas that are not from the core of thought, truth and flawless instinct, that is why I think that, it is the duty of those who are shaping the courses and studies, to take into account, the condition of the society, its development and reform, which we are getting away from, bit by bit, and this will lead society to devastation.
I am attaching, some of the differences I have found in some studies, a note is specific for Ministry of endowment, through titles only, the ministry of endowment, took some of these titles, elaborated them, in words that don’t exceed one page for each title, as if Syria is a society that advocates but fundamentalism……..I don't know whether the aim is to get away from fundamentalism and its ideas……..or to propagandize fundamental thought, slowly, cleverly and cunningly.
Here are some of the titles , in your reach:
1- Precept of keeping the Apron long.
2- Precept of dressing ( suit and neck tie ) for men, is it imitating none-Muslims.
3- Precept of covering the face and hands, and the veil.
4- Precept of prying in a Mosque, which contains a grave.
5- Precept of condolence and its ethics.
6- Sunnah of Jumaa prayer, before Jumaa.
7- Hand shaking after prayer, and the saying of the Muslim to his Muslim brother: God may accept your prayers.
8- Rosary, getting its help in counting the numbers of doxology.
9- Group praising ….. precept of leaving prayers and defray the past prayers.
10- The status of scholars in Islam, sanctity of abusing their honor.
11- Precept of infidelity of a Muslim, cursing or harming him.
12- Awabeen (a special prayers ) after sunset.
13- Ethics of dealing with none-Muslims in our homeland.
14- Heterodoxy, definition and kinds.
I let you comment on the above mentioned titles……….for the content is clear, as the titles are.
For the sake of justice, these are some titles from the other section of researchers, scholars and humanitarian Islamic institutions, concerned with temperance and moderation, who researched and studied the idea, so these titles sprang, which are as mere titles hold a great deal of discussion and serious dialogue, to provide temperance as, a system and thought to create a high inspired society, protecting generations minds and create researching mindful scholars, who understand the aim of instauration and reform:
1- The issue of woman…her right and status in the society….crystalizing new concept for the liberation of woman…principal of equality between man and woman in Islam.
2- Citizenship and the rights of minorities, citizenship in the modern Islamic thought.
3- Islamic Temperance, among the nature of cultures and its roles.
4- Appealing for confrontation: reasons and excuses!
5- Temperance of Islam in multiculturalism, with the people of scripts.
6- Intellectual consolidation for natural relation between Islam and the west.
7- In the relation between temperance and the understanding of the fact.
8- Temperance in building society.
9- Woman role in reform.
10- Fact and horizon for change.
This titles are found in one study of "560" pages, the fixed temperance, with different definition and its original concept, and presented excuses to work on its basis, the also mentioned the main points which made our nation to go astray, be away from the real temperance principal, and found solutions, presented plan and strategy for working upon it in the same study.
May be presenting the subject today is highly sensitive, for many, but as for me, the subject is of extreme fidelity, that needs to expose cards, not for my sake, but fir some of those, who are trying frivoling, rather for something higher than that, human mind which they are trying to destroy, keep it away from facts and light, and keep it in the circle of subordination.
Last word: the most important danger, that is storming into our society, are the courses, which establish every fallacious concept……and every kind of study, that does not carry in its folds, moral human spirit, which brings together not disperse….love not hate…build not destroy.
